There are a few ways to....Sardinia.

We suggest to come by car. The public transport system in Sardinia is not developed very well, and to be independent and mobil on the island, a car is needed. So the arrival with a ferry will be the best way.

Of course its possible to arrive by plane to the international airport of Cagliari, the capital city, where cars can be rented.

The journey by ferry is manifold. From a lot of different cities in italy you can board to the feerys. So Prices and travel time can be very various. Best choices is to take a ferry which is starting in the evening, so you can travel by night and you can take the 6 to 11 hours transit asleep. So you can enter the ship at sunset and get off at sunrise in the Harbors of Porto Corallo, Olbia or Cagliari.
